The state government of Madhya Pradesh has approved a major road expansion project on the Rewa–Dabhora (Sirmour–Dabhora) route, aimed at improving road safety and connectivity in the region. Under this plan, the existing road—which is currently narrow and has several dangerous curves, especially through the Bardaha Valley—will be widened to an 18-metre carriageway (about 60 feet) and reconstructed using modern highway standards. The total approved budget for this project is ₹311.62 crore.
